Is it ok to travel?

Our 3-step travel wellbeing protocol, defined by our experienced team and endorsed by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) safe travels stamp, gives you the peace of mind to discover Ireland and Scotland and enjoy your trip, knowing you are in good hands, where we have taken care of your wellbeing and the trip’s details.

What happens if something changes or I change my mind?

To give you peace of mind and more time to make decisions about your future travel plans, you’re free to change your travel plans until 60 days before your trip.

If for any reason you change your mind, you can choose new dates and/or a new destination without penalty on the land portion of your trip (airlines impose different change policies and penalties).^

How will I stay well while traveling?
Your wellbeing is our priority. Our 3-step distancing and hygiene protocol, which includes your dedicated always-on support team, means you can travel with complete ease and peace of mind.


What support will there be on trip?
In addition to your Travel Director and Driver, Wellbeing Director, with the latest health authority and local government guidelines, will be supporting all of our guided vacations. They will ensure daily adherence to all well-being protocols and will be available to support guests.
Will the attractions and sites I want to see be open and will I have a good time?
We carefully plan our trips to ensure you enjoy the best experiences in the places you go. Our team, both behind the scenes and on the ground, remain up to date and will optimize and pivot your itinerary to ensure you get the most out of your trip and enjoy the same rich, fun Brendan Vacations experience.

What if I or a fellow traveler get sick?
Should an incident arise on trip, 24/7 protocols are in place. We will assist and direct distancing, local medic support and testing. We will liaise with local authorities to follow directives, which will vary across countries, and support you every step of the way.

How many other guests will be on my trip?
We will operate all trips in 2022 with a number of empty seats to ensure that we always allow for appropriate extra physical distancing.

What if borders close while I am abroad?
Our team is always up to date and continue to adjust to the changing regulations from health authorities and local governments. They will make changes behind the scenes so you are able to enjoy your trip, even when things change.

Temporary changes to standard terms and conditions apply to new bookings until further notice. This applies to the land portion of bookings only. This penalty waiver allows you to change the destination and/or trip you are traveling on. If you choose a trip or departure that is more expensive than the original, you are responsible for the difference in price; if the trip or departure is less expensive than the original, a future travel credit will be issued for the difference. If you purchased Travel Insurance with us, your insurance premium is non-refundable 10 days after deposit is paid and is non-transferrable.

^For trips departing on and after January 1, 2022, standard change and cancellation penalties apply as outlined in our Booking Conditions. If you choose a trip or departure that is more expensive than the original, you are responsible for the difference in price; if the trip or departure is less expensive than the original, a future travel credit will be issued for the difference. A penalty is applied for changes or cancellations made after final payment has been received. Discounts and promotions are subject to availability on the new trip. Normal penalties apply for full cancellation without rebooking. Please note, airlines may impose different change policies, and if you declined travel insurance, you are responsible for any airline cancellation penalties. Other conditions apply.
