Created as a joint initiative between The Travel Corporation's (TTC) family of brands, The TreadRight Foundation is a not-for-profit that works to help ensure the environment and communities we visit remain bright and vibrant for generations to come. Founded by Brett Tollman, Chief Executive, TTC, to date TreadRight has supported more than 40 sustainable tourism projects worldwide. As an official Diamond Sponsor of the UN International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development 2017, TTC is dedicated to bringing the industry together with a shared goal of benefiting local communities and the environment.

As part of our continuing sustainability journey, we feel it’s increasingly important to provide our guests and our team with the necessary tools and information to allow them to make responsible travel choices whenever possible. With this in mind, we are now happy to provide you with opportunities to carbon offset your travel experience.

If you’re looking to offset your carbon footprint for an upcoming or previous travel experience, TreadRight has identified four leading carbon offset programs - Conservation International Carbon FundmyclimateThe Nature Conservancy, and Rainforest Concern – Forest Credits - that provide travelers with a number of ways in which to offset your travel experiences and a variety of carbon offset projects to choose from.

Travel Today, Sustain Tomorrow

At Brendan Vacations, we partner with our sister company Trafalgar on our Guided Vacations to create experiences that support local communities and reduce our carbon footprint worldwide. Every day, we are driven to make a positive impact globally, locally and individually. Our efforts working with UK-based National Trust helped Giant’s Causeway (pictured), a historic and beloved site in Northern Ireland, build a new sustainable visitors center enhancing the experience through conservation and protection.
