EPIC is located in the famous Custom House Quay (CHQ) Building on the River Liffey dockyards in Dublin. Built as a large warehouse in 1820, the halls and series of catacomb-like vaults have been host to everything from valuable cargos of tobacco, tea and spirits to the Crimean War Banquet in 1856, that celebrated the return of 3,000 Irish soldiers.

Passionate to share the experience, message and connection of Ireland and its people with the world, Director of Sales, David Cleary, has played an integral role in the museum’s scope, engagement and positioning it as a leading destination. A keen storyteller himself, David works equally to celebrate the successes and stories of anyone claiming Irish heritage worldwide, but also to seek new connections with people who think they might. If that’s you, David’s your man.
