Regardless of your group’s size, you can choose to travel with a Brendan Private Chauffeur. Your group may need to travel in multiple vehicles and if over 12 guests, we will work with you to decide if travelling by coach is the best option.  

For Ireland, we can tailor your experience within one travel style or mix and match to get the most out of your Ireland vacation. Lux Self-Drive is not available in Scotland at this time so you can opt for a Private Chauffeur travel style instead. 

The room available for your luggage will depend on the number of guests in your travelling group and the size of vehicle. In general, we recommend travelling with one suitcase and one handheld bag for each guest.  

If you are pleased with the services of your Private Chauffeur, you may wish to express your satisfaction with a gratuity. While completely up to your discretion, here are some recommended tipping guidelines:   

In Ireland, provide tips in Euros and in Scotland provide tips in Pounds:   

Chauffeur Car (1-2 people) €/£20-25 per person, per day  

Small Groups & Families (3-6 people) €/£15-20 per person, per day 

Small Groups & Families (7-8 people) €/£10-15 per person, per day  

Your gratuity can be given to the Private Chauffeur at the end of your trip in a sealed envelope.

Yes, we are able to arrange your golf tee times at most courses. Some courses have a long waitlist, so it is recommended you speak to your Travel Advisor or Brendan Vacations Celtic Expert when booking to see what is available when you are making your booking.  

No, there are no age restrictions on these travel styles. Please let your Travel Advisor or Brendan Vacations Celtic Expert know when you are making your booking if there are any considerations needed like car seats, etc.  

We work exclusively with Hertz® to bring you the best car rental service on the Celtic Isles. They require all drivers to be 30. We of course offer our Private Chauffeur options for those outside of this age range. 

We recommend you pack and wear layered clothing that you are comfortable in. And as Ireland and Scotland are known for their cooler climates, we suggest bringing a rain jacket and small umbrella.
