Dublin, EPIC Ireland

Travel to Blarney Castle, built nearly six hundred years ago by one of Ireland's greatest chieftains. Legend tells us that the Blarney
stone situated on the grounds of Blarney Castle imparts the gift of eloquence to those who kiss it. Spend time shopping at the famous Blarney Woollen Mills, a building that dates back to 1793. Travel to Cork, Ireland’s second largest city (or the “real capital” of Ireland as the inhabitants like to call it!) Criss-crossing the city’s bridges, you’ll see the medieval Old Town, the university, City Hall and Shandon Bells. Next visit the English Market. In the old days, stalls sold local foodstuffs, and shoppers haggled with the stall owners. Arrive in Killarney, and enjoy the town on the lakes. It is renowned for its lively pubs and open, cheerful atmosphere, full of what the Irish call ‘craic’!

Today travel the road that winds around the beautiful Iveragh Peninsula, better known as “The Ring of Kerry.” It is
undoubtedly one of the most magical places in all Ireland. Here mountains, valleys, lakes and sea blend into a landscape that
is often breathtaking beyond words. Meet a local guide at Muckross House for a leisurely hike through the National Park. You will walk along the lakeshore, by West Meadow Bay and end with a visit to Muckross Abbey.

NOTE: The hike is about 2.5-3 hours long and travels over wooded paths and lakeshore trails. While there are no mountains to
climb, walkers need to be fit and have good walking shoes, sunscreen and raingear.
