The festival’s headline attraction is a sensational showcase of Scottish style, where farmers bring their perfectly groomed cows from all corners of Scotland in an aim to be crowned ‘Best Coo in Shoo’ - awarded to the Highland Cow judged to have the best haircut.

Event founder Aoif Sproll (left) has seen participants and visitors double year on year. “Hairy coos are beautiful in every way and I think they should be celebrated far and wide. These cows are never camera shy, but anything to get more eyes on them is great for everyone”.
