Welcome to Dublin! Upon arrival, you will be met by your private chauffeur and will be taken on an orientation tour of the city. Dublin offers a fine introduction to Georgian mansions, with wide streets and spacious squares. You’ll pass the Customs House on the north bank of the River Liffey and many mid-18th-century public buildings back in Dublin’s Southside, including the beautiful Trinity College. You will pass Dublin Castle, City Hall, Christchurch Cathedral and St Patrick’s Cathedral—the latter founded in 1190 and best known for its association with Jonathan Swift, who was Dean here from 1713 to 1745.

It has hosted many amateur and professional events such as the Walker Cup in 1991, The Canada Cup and the Irish Open 17 times. This evening will see you embark on a Literary Pub Crawl of Dublin. This kicks off with a clarion cry of mirth and joy in song – the Waxie Dargle, to be precise. Carry onwards from the Duke to the cobbled history of Trinity College and through a maze of narrow, winding streets. Bask in literary greats, delivered by a tour-led actor. Spanning Yeats to Larkin and Behan and Beckett, the words will come to life with laughter, language, and the unique warmth and welcome of an Irish literary pub crawl.
